A social deduction game of careful questions
Secret Agent is a free browser-based party game for 4–8 players. Most players receive the same secret location while one outsider does not. The group asks and answers questions that show just enough knowledge to appear trustworthy. After the discussion, everyone votes for the suspected outsider, who may still steal the round by identifying the location.

How to play Secret Agent
- Gather 4–8 players and join the same private room. Read your role on your own screen without showing it to the group.
- Most players see the same location. One player is the outsider and must work out that location from the conversation.
- Take turns asking and answering questions. Give enough detail to show you know the location without handing the answer to the outsider.
- Vote for the player you suspect. If the outsider is caught, they get a final chance to identify the location and steal the round.
A turn in practice
If the location is a beach, ask whether someone would bring a jacket instead of naming sand or the sea. An answer that fits the setting can build trust without revealing too much.
What do I need to play Secret Agent?
You need 4–8 people, a modern web browser for each player, and enough time for a 15–30 minute round. Voice chat or being together in the same room makes questioning easier.
Is Secret Agent a hidden-role game?
Yes. One outsider has different information from the rest of the group. The challenge is to spot that player through questions and answers while keeping the location secret.
Does everyone need to be in the same room?
No. Friends can join remotely from separate browsers. You can also use your usual voice call, or play together in person while keeping each role screen private.
